EMPTY LEG LINK

Avinode has launched a new empty leg link that allows charter providers to market empty legs from its online charter marketplace straight to end-users via the operator's website. "The widget will pull empty legs straight from Avinode and post them on your website without any input from you," says the Gothenburg, Sweden-headquartered company. "If you operate your own fleet then the link gives you the ability to market your aircraft quickly and easily. If you broker flights the link allows you to market all global empty legs, helping you generate viable leads from all over the world."

MEXICAN EXPANSION

ExecuJet Mexico has opened a new office at Toluca airport. The business aviation service provider - which has been operating in Mexico since 2002 - also has bases in Monterrey's Mariano Escobedo and Del Norte International airports, from where it offers aircraft charter, sales, management and maintenance services.

PRIVATE FUNDING

UK online business jet booking network PrivateFly.com has completed the first phase of its funding. The capital will be used to increase marketing spend, expand its workforce, "drive business in the UK market, and develop a presence in new European territories", says the company.

MAINTENANCE APPROVAL

ExecuJet has been granted European and United Arab Emirates approval to provide line and base maintenance on the Embraer Legacy business jet at its 5,600m2 (60,280ft2) facility in Dubai. The business aviation services provider is already approved to support the Bombardier business aircraft family and the Gulfstream G150 and G200 business aircraft at the site.
