NEW EXPANSION

ExecuJet Aviation has received its New Zealand air operator's certificate, paving the way for the Zurich-headquartered company to offer business aviation services including aircraft handling, charter and management within the country. The first aircraft to be managed is a privately owned Gulfstream G550, for which ExecuJet has also been awarded Part 145 maintenance approval by the New Zealand civil aviation authority. ExecuJet says the New Zealand certificate will help it to expand within Australasia. It also has an Australian operator's licence.

LAUDA GOES GLOBAL

Bombardier has sold a Global 5000 business jet to NL Holdings - a company run by former Formula 1 racing driver Nikki Lauda. The super-large aircraft, scheduled for delivery at the beginning of 2012, will be the first Global 5000 jet to be delivered with the new Global Vision flightdeck. Lauda also has a privately owned Challenger 300.
