Embraer's second Phenom 300 light jet made its first flight on 5 August from the Brazilian airframer's Gavião Peixoto plant. Four flight-test aircraft will participate in the Phenom 300's certification and maturity campaigns and the final two aircraft, which will be outfitted with full interiors, are now in the assembly and pre-assembly stages, Embraer says. The Phenom 300 is earmarked for certification and first deliveries next year.
