ICEJET, JETCOM SEAL 328 PACT

London Oxford-based charter operator Icejet is to provide maintenance and crew support for JetCom Aviation's 31-seat Dornier 328, which currently flies shuttles between Exeter, Farnborough and Malpensa airports for a large Italian corporation. A strategic alliance between the firms saw the aircraft transferred to the Icelandic air operator's certificate in March, with a second 31-seat D328 expected to follow soon. The existing Icejet D328 fleet includes a 14 seat VIP version and another 19 seater in all-business class configuration.


SERVICE CENTRED

Pratt & Whitney Canada has awarded distributor and designated overhaul facility authorisation to Okmulgee, Oklahoma-based Covington Aircraft Engines for the repair and overhaul of the P&WC PT6A engine series. Covington was formerly a service centre for PT6A engines used in agricultural applications.


BBJ DELIVERIES

Associated Air Center has delivered two VIP-configured Boeing Business Jets and an Airbus Corporate Jet to undisclosed eastern European and Indian customers. The handovers bring to 31 the total BBJ and ACJ completions performed by the Tempe, Arizona-based company.


CARAVAN MILESTONE

Cessna's Caravan single-engine turboprop is 25 years old and the airframer is gearing up to deliver the 2,000th example of the type in the coming months. Cessna says the utility aircraft has been certificated in 100 countries and the fleet has amassed more than 12.5 million flight hours.


JEPPESEN CONTRACT

Jet Aviation has renewed for three years a multiple service agreement with Jeppesen to provide its operations and navigation services, including flight planning, electronic flight bag software, tailored digital and paper charting, for Jet Aviation's aircraft management division based in Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
