Embraer has delivered the first Asia-Pacific-based Phenom 300E to Australian luxury travel company Northern Escape Collection.

The handover of aircraft serial number 463 (VH-NSQ) came three months after the upgraded E-variant of the light business jet – the second iteration of the nine-year-old Phenom 300 – entered service. Eight examples have been delivered to date.

The Phenom 300E – short for Enhanced – was launched in October 2017. It features a redesigned cabin, restyled and improved seating designed by Embraer Aero Seating Technologies in Titusville, Florida, and a high-end in-flight entertainment and cabin management system supplied by Lufthansa Technik.

Northern Escape's 300E will be used to transport guests to its collection of luxury private lodges located throughout Queensland. The aircraft will be operated on the company's behalf by Brisbane-based business aircraft charter and management firm Avcair.

"Adding the jet transfer to the Northern Escape Collection, which is also serviced by our private helicopter fleet Nautilus Aviation, allows our guests to travel in style and comfort throughout their entire journey," says Chris Morris, executive chairman of Northern Escape and Nautilus parent company the Morris Group.

Embraer describes the Phenom 300 as the "best-selling and most-delivered light business jet for the last six years". Flight Fleets Analyzer records a global inventory of nearly 450 examples, of which 11 are based in the Asia-Pacific and three in Australia.
