Poland has received the first of its two Gulfstream G550 business jets for VIP and government transport missions.
To be operated from the Polish air force's 1st Airlift Base at Warsaw-Okecie airport, the large-cabin, long-range jet is configured with eight seats.
Its sister aircraft, dating from a November 2016 order, will arrive in late July and both aircraft are due to begin operations in the autumn.
The arrival of the Gulfstream pair marks a significant milestone as Warsaw attempts to rebuild its VIP transport fleet.
Aside from the G550s, Poland has also ordered three Boeing Business Jets. The first of these, a converted 737-800 passenger aircraft, will arrive in November, with two new-build BBJ2s following in late 2020.
