JetBlue Airways A $21 million profit in the second quarter of 2007 turned into a $7 million loss this year, leading the New York Kennedy-based carrier to defer to 2016 10 Embraer 190 deliveries scheduled for delivery in 2009 until 2011 and discontinue operations at Ontario, California. Chief executive Dave Barger expects capacity to fall 10% year-on-year in September, once the summer travel period ends: "We currently do not plan to grow in 2009."
