SKYEUROPE - The struggling central European budget carrier unveiled a near-trebling of full-year operating losses to €56 million ($71 million) as improved operating revenue and passenger numbers got wiped out by a two-thirds surge in fuel expenditure.
A dispute with its credit card acquirer helped push cash balances to just €1.3 million.
SkyEurope is also in payment default with GE Commercial Aviation Services, from which it leases most of its 15 Boeing 737-700s.
