BCI Aircraft Leasing boss Brian Hollnagel and former AAR Group vice-president Brian Olds were charged in a US district court with fraud in relation to two aircraft transactions. The deals allegedly saw Hollnagel paying Olds bribes totalling $430,000 to negotiate beneficial prices for sales between their respective companies of two aircraft operated by US Airways on lease from BCI and another three on lease from AAR to Continental.
