Boeing subsidiary Alteon Training has launched a Cabin Safety and Service Training programme specifically for flight attendants working in the business aviation sector.

Launched at the beginning of the month, the five-day course includes training in: evacuation, fire-fighting, first aid and ditching as well as aviation operation subjects such as security, MAZMAT and crew resource management.

Announcing the new package, Alteon vice-president Americas John Alexander says: "As the premier training organisation for the world's airlines, we wanted to share our experience with the business jet operators that need a fully-trained cabin attendant who can handle emergency situations and is well-trained in flight service aspects."
