This year's Dubai airshow welcomes delegates to the first Mid East Business Jet Conference on 19 November, the day before the show opens.

"The show is fuelled by the expanding business jet and private charter market within the Middle East," says Alison Weller, project manager, Dubai airshow. "Drivers include increasing ownership of private aircraft and the expanding number of huge international events staged in the region, such as the Bahrain Formula One Grand Prix and the Dubai Shopping Festival."

Fairs & Exhibitions (F&E), the Dubai airshow organiser, is also behind the conference.

Dubai 2005 will be held at an expanded Airport Expo Dubai, the main commercial centre of the United Arab Emirates, from 20-24 November. The show is organised by F&E in conjunction with the Dubai Department of Civil Aviation and in co-operation with the UAE Armed Forces.
