Cox: MBE for Air League director

Kingfisher Airlines' executive VP Ramki Sundaram is returning to London-based Investec Bank (UK) as global head for mergers and acquisitions and aviation business adviser.

The International Brotherhood of Teamsters union has named Steve Nagrotsky as airline division deputy director. Daniel Shurz has joined Frontier Airlines, from Air Canada, as VP strategy and planning.

FedEx Express president and chief executive David Bronczek will be the International Air Transport Association's chairman for 2010-11; he will succeed Cathay Pacific's Tony Tyler, who last month took over from Royal Jordanian's Samer Majali.

Seabury Aviation & Aerospace has formed a board of advisers with expertise on macro trends in the aviation and aerospace industries. They are former Qantas chief executive Geoff Dixon, Gulfstream Aerospace president emeritus Bryan Moss, former Rolls-Royce executive chairman Sir Ralph Robins and former Northwest Airlines chief executive Douglas Steenland.

The Air League's director, Royal Air Force Group Captain (Ret) Edward Cox, was awarded an MBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours List.
