Thomas Murphy has succeeded Randy Clark as chief operating officer of Polar Air Cargo; Murphy was Asia Pacific aviation VP for DHL, which holds a 49% ownership and 25% voting stake in Polar.
Travel industry consultant Lee Granger has joined Navtech as VP product marketing. Kevin Kramer has taken up the newly created position of growth initiatives president at Alcoa. At Northrop Grumman, director and deputy F/A-18 programme manager Michelle Scarpella is now VP of F/A-18 programmes for its strike and surveillance systems division, responsible for all aspects of the F/A-18 programme as well as legacy F-5 and T-38 aircraft programmes.
At Italian forgings group Forgital, former ATI Europe VP Dominique Berast is now VP sales and marketing; Ennio Angerer is president of its Fly light alloy finishing subsidiary. GE Capital Aviation Services has promoted 22-year veteran Norman Liu to president and chief executive, replacing Henry Hubschman, who is now chairman.
