McCall: EasyJet's guardian
At EasyJet, Carolyn McCall, head of the UK's Guardian newspaper group, is to succeed chief executive Andrew Harrison, who is moving to hotel and restaurant operator Whitbread. Airbus has named former Thales executive Mark Barclay as head of its wing and pylon centre of excellence in the UK, at Broughton. Chief executive Franklin Pray is leaving Dublin lessor AWAS to relocate back to the USA. Former FBI special agent Stanley Borgia is to join Rolls-Royce as VP security and ethics, based at the company's North America headquarters in Reston, Virginia. At Hawker Beechcraft, former StandardAero VP sales Jim Noonan is now VP business operations and sales consultant Mike Ellis has joined as VP used aircraft sales. Scott Bairstow, formerly of the UK's Northwest Regional Development Agency, has joined the North West Aerospace Alliance as supply chain excellence project director. Dassault Falcon's New Jersey-based technical programmes manager Woody Saland has the extra responsibility for pilot operations, representing the Falcon Operational Support Directorate in the western hemisphere.
