Israel’s BVR Systems is planning to pay up to $5 million in cash and shares for 100% of the stock of US-based Blue Ridge Simulation, which develops and manufactures high-performance radar simulators for military and civil applications. The acquisition is part of BVR’s strategy to establish its market presence in North America. BVR chief executive Ilan Gillies says the acquisition will contribute considerably to the company’s leading position in the live and embedded training market.
