CAE is to upgrade the Gulfstream V simulator at Emirates-CAE Flight Training to represent the G550 business jet after Switzerland's GV Executive signed a multi-year agreement to be anchor customer for G550 training at the Dubai centre.
The Canadian manufacturer is also updating the Dubai centre's Gulfstream IV simulator with an enhanced-vision system and is using the device to provide training on the G300 and G400 business jets.
In addition to the Gulfstreams, the Emirates-CAE joint venture offers training on the Airbus Corporate Jetliner, Boeing Business Jet and Hawker 800XP.
