Canada's CAE and Boeing are proposing an advanced training system to the Canadian Armed Forces to allow realistic simulated mission training by groups of CF-18 pilots. The CF-18 Advanced Distributed Combat Training System will consist of two main Mission Training Systems each of which will allow four pilots to 'fly' realistic missions together, against a variety of realistic air-to-air and air-to-ground threats. These Mission Training Systems will be capable of being linked together, allowing two formations of four CF-18s to 'train' together.
