CAE SimuFlite has been selected by the US Federal Aviation Administration to provide initial and recurrent training for more than 150 FAA pilots on a number of business aircraft types including the Beechcraft King Air 300, Bombardier Challenger, Learjet 60 and Hawker 800. Training will take place at the Bombardier and CAE SimuFlite training centres in Dallas, Texas.

The Federal Aviation Administration has ordered inspections of the Gulfstream G500 and G600 fleet in response to a “quality escape” involving improperly installed engine-mounting hardware.
