The first of 20 BAE Systems Hawk 115s for the NATO Flight Training in Canada programme has been delivered. The Bombardier-operated programme was inaugurated on 6 July. The Hawk will be used for later stages, including advanced training from Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and weapons and tactics training at Cold Lake, Alberta. Basic training is carried out on Raytheon T-6As.
