Air Canada is delaying the launch of a discount carrier until "next spring", having once planned to launch it this year. The flag-carrier says the delay will allow it to conclude talks with its unions. The airline has, meanwhile, failed in its appeal against a "cease and desist" order from the Canadian Competition Bureau after Halifax-based CanJet complained that Air Canada was undercutting its prices on five routes. One of these - Toronto-Windsor - has been dropped by CanJet.
