Canada's 23 July choice of Sikorsky's H-92 to meet its Maritime Helicopter Programme (MHP) requirement is to go before the country's Federal Court, with the defeated Team Cormorant having launched proceedings against the decision on 1 September. According to a report in Canada's Globe and Mail newspaper, the challenge is based on alleged "serious errors" in the procurement process, which Team Cormorant claims favoured the Sikorsky design over AgustaWestland's EH101.
