Five US airlines have received permission to fly to Montreal, Canada, under rights available during the second year of the US-Canadian bilateral air agreement. Delta Air Lines has won authority to serve Montreal twice daily from Cincinnati, while United Airlines will fly a daily service from Miami. Continental, Flagship (American Eagle) and Northwest Airlines has won the right to add flights from Newark, New York and Minneapolis, respectively. United will add one daily flight to its Chicago-Montreal service in addition to the two flights it was awarded in 1995 for Montreal. The airlines can begin the new flights on 24 February.
