Canada's International Training Programmes (Stand E750) is looking to further develop its relationship with the UAE armed forces at Dubai 2003.

After successfully becoming involved in air navigator training last year, the training facility is now looking to carry out pilot training.

"Canada's pilot and navigator training programme is the most advanced in the world and we currently offer training to the armed forces of over 30 countries," says Lt-Col Brian Houlgate.

Promoted

"We have actively promoted our training capabilities for the last 10 years and we are here in Dubai to make ourselves more visible to armed forces across the region."

Canada has been involved in training since the dawn of military aviation in the First World War. The International Training Programmes exist to allow participants to benefit from financial economies of scale while having access to the best training facilities and technology.
