Despite tough market conditions last year, Luxembourg-based freight carrier Cargolux managed a net profit of $22 million on revenues of $731 million in 2001, compared to a net profit of $32 million and revenues of $739 million in 2000. It benefited from cuts in fleet capacity at other carriers following the events of last September.
