CATHAY PACIFIC Airways has ordered a second Airbus A330 full-flight simulator from CAE Electronics. The A330-300 simulator, with 150¡-wide CAE MaxVue visual-system, will be delivered to Cathay's training centre at Hong Kong's Kai Tak Airport in the third quarter of 1996, joining an A330/A340 simulator and flight-training device supplied earlier.

CAE has also received a Korean Air contract to supply a Boeing 777 maintenance-training simulator. The Level 5 device will offer "essentially the same capabilities as a Level 7 [fixed-base] simulator at a reduced cost", says the Canadian manufacturer. The device will be delivered, with a CAE-built 777 full-flight simulator, to Korean Air's Seoul, South Korea, training centre.
