A scale model of the new Emirates Airline Engineering Centre has been given a seal of approval here at the show.
HH General Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Minister of Defence and Crown Prince of Dubai, toured the exhibition after opening Dubai '97.
Commenting on the Engineering Centre, which is nearing completion at Dubai International Airport, Sheikh Mohammed said: "The Engineering Centre is a state-of-the-art facility that will enable Emirates to maintain the highest standards of technical support both to Emirates and to third-party airlines."
