Embraer's 37-seat ERJ-135 - the smallest of its regional jet family - has gained its Brazilian certification this week. US Federal Aviation Administration certification is expected to follow by July and European certification in October.

The ERJ-135 is taking part in the show's flight and static displays and a spate of order announcements this week has taken its sales order book to 134 firm and 175 options.

First delivery will take place in July to US regional carrier Continental Express. American Eagle, an American Airlines affiliate, will take its first ERJ-135 late the same month.
