Raytheon Aircraft received provisional US certification of the Hawker Horizon on 23 December, more than three years later than planned when the super mid-size business jet was launched in 1996. The first aircraft has been accepted by Wichita hotelier Jack DeBoer and leased back for further service-ready testing. Meanwhile, Aviation Partners has received certification for retrofit of its blended winglets on the mid-sized Hawker 800XP, following earlier approval on the Hawker 800.
