Cessna president and chief executive Jack Pelton has assumed the position of company chairman following the retirement of Russ Meyer after 30 years at the manufacturer's helm. Under Meyer's leadership, Cessna was transformed into a leading producer of business jets. Meyer has been awarded the honourary title of chairman emeritus.
