CESSNA IS FLIGHT-TESTING THE prototype Turbo 206 Stationair, which will be the third of its piston-single types to re-enter production. The T206 is powered by a Textron Lycoming TIO-580 turbocharged engine. Initial flights will be used to evaluate the new engine and instrumentation. Cessna says that engine power response and performance on the 28 August first flight was "excellent". The first pilot-production T206, is scheduled to be flown in January 1997 and series production is planned to begin at Independence, Kansas, in mid-1997, alongside that of the 172 and 182.m
