CFM 56's 30,000h

A CFM International CFM56-3B2 engine in service on a Germania Flug Boeing 737-300 has logged 30,000h and more than 11,000 cycles on wing without removal. The achievement sets a world record, breaking the 28,888 flight hours reached by a General Electric CF6 in 1996.
