Bournemouth, UK-based cargo operator Channel Express (Air Services) has acquired a further two Fokker F27-500s, which brings its freighter fleet to five F27s, five Lockheed Electras and eight Handley Page Heralds. The 6,000kg payload, Stage 3 noise-certificated F27 turboprop will enable the airline to expand its existing charter operations into mainland Europe.
