CHC Helicopter International has won offshore support contracts totalling C$57.6 million ($36.9 million). CHC will provide a second Sikorsky S-76A++ based at U-Tapao for Chevron Offshore (Thailand); two S-76A++ helicopters based at Songhkla for Thai petroleum authority PTTEP; and an S-76A++, plus back-up Bell 212 based in the Gulf for Agip Offshore.

Airbus Helicopters chief executive Bruno Even has played down fears over the sales performance of its H160, following a year in which the airframer booked just four orders for the new medium-twin.
