China Air Cargo is has put its new Boeing 747-400ER Freighter into service, initally on Shanghai-Chicago-Dallas services, replacing a Boeing MD-11F. The cargo arm of China Eastern Airlines has ordered two 747-400ERFs, and next year plans to use the new aircraft to launch daily services from Shanghai to Los Angeles via Seoul.
