Cessna plans to deliver over the next two months two new Citation XLS business jets to the China Flight Inspection Centre in Beijing. A Cessna source says Canada’s Kitchener Aerospace has begun retrofitting the first aircraft, which is set to be delivered in October. Cessna is aiming to deliver the second aircraft by early November. The Chinese government last year acquired two XLS jets for flight- inspection missions.

Rolls-Royce has completed flight testing of the Pearl 10X engine it is developing for the Dassault Aviation Falcon 10X business jet after a six-month campaign.
French investigators have found that a Cessna 525A Citation departed Paris Le Bourget after personnel failed to realise nose-gear maintenance was incomplete, forcing the jet to return for a gear-up landing.
