The Civil Aviation Administration of China has signed a deal with a US trade organisation to provide a series of training programmes for Chinese airline staff. Funded by a $500,000 grant from the US Trade and Development Agency, the programmes will be aimed at airline executives and government officials responsible for civil aviation in the country. Run by the National Institute for Aerospace Studies and Services, a subsidiary of the Aerospace Industries Association, the training schemes will help develop expertise and best practice in China.
