China Southern Airlines has agreed to lease nine Boeing 737-800s from GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) to expand its passenger operations. The Guangzhou-based carrier says that it entered into the lease agreement on 14 January. The nine twinjets are to be leased for seven years and deliveries are scheduled to take place between April this year and February next year.
