Expansion China Southern Airlines is seeking government approval to lease 25 Airbus and Boeing narrowbody aircraft from International Lease Finance (ILFC). The Guangzhou-based carrier says the proposed deal, with ILFC Ireland, covers five Airbus A320s and 10 larger A321s, as well as five Boeing 737-700s and five larger 737-800s. The aircraft would be delivered between January 2006 and May 2007, on 10-12 year operating leases.
