Bombardier has delivered the first of five Canadair Corporate JetLiners to China under a $116 million deal signed in January. Three aircraft will be delivered this year and two next, replacing VIPChallenger 600s.
The 25- to 32-seat variants of the Canadair Regional Jet will be operated by China United Airlines.

Turkish business jet charter company Air Sapphire has been heavily fined by the US government for flying a Gulfstream GIV to Russia without authorisation.
The Federal Aviation Administration has ordered inspections of the Gulfstream G500 and G600 fleet in response to a “quality escape” involving improperly installed engine-mounting hardware.
