Pilots of the Republic of China Air Force's Indigenous Defense Fighter will have the benefit of the latest Improved Radar Warning Receivers (IRWR). Litton's Applied Technology division announced at the show it been awarded the $116.2 million contract by the Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation of Taiwan, ROC.
The basic contract for $111 million covers production of IRWR systems, spares and integrated logistic support systems. A $5.2 million option with provision for support equipment and training extends to the end of July 1997.
