Pratt & Whitney, China Airlines and Singapore Airlines Engineering have formed a joint venture to repair PW4000 high-pressure-compressor stators at a new site near Chiang Kai-shek Airport in Taipei, Taiwan. P&W controls 51% of the business, with the other partners dividing the balance equally.
