China will acquire the Raduga 3M80 (SS-N-22) Sunburn supersonic anti-ship missile as part of the weapons package to be supplied with the two Russian Sovremenny-class destroyers which the country is in the process of purchasing.
The ships may also be provided with the naval variant of the SA-17 Grizzly surface-to-air missile.
