Chinese lessor CALC has tentatively signed for 100 Airbus A320-family jets including 74 of the re-engined A320neo.
The other 26 aircraft comprise 10 baseline A321s and 16 A320s.
Airbus has confirmed the memorandum of understanding. No engine selection has been given.
CALC chief Mike Poon says the A320 family is a "perfect fit" for the lessor's air transport supply strategy for Chinese and overseas customers.
