China's Civil Aviation Flying College (CAFC) has begun using Wicat Systems Wing's ab initio flight training course at Guanghan. The computer-based training course was developed by Lindon, Utah-based Wicat with Swissair and British Aerospace Flight Training. The comprehensive, self-paced, ground school curriculum is in three phases matching private pilot, commercial pilot and air transport pilot licence levels. The CAFC is operated by the Civil Aviation Administration of China and trains pilots for almost all of China's 30 airlines.
