The UK Ministry of Defence is continuing discussions with Boeing ahead of a decision on whether to conduct a “fix to field” programme to clear the Royal Air Force’s unserviceable fleet of eight Chinook HC3 transport helicopters for operational use. “We are working with Boeing to ensure that the proposed solution is mature and robust before taking the final decision,” the MoD says.
