Garrett Aviation is to upgrade Cessna 501-series Citation light business jets with Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionics.
The first retrofit is scheduled for early next year. In January, aircraft services specialist Garrett acquired a Williams FJ44 re-engining programme for 500/501-series Citations from Sierra Industries.
The cockpit retrofit will introduce Collins IDS-3000 large-format liquid-crystal displays to integrate and expand the information presented to the pilot.
