CIT Aerospace's request for US Export Import Bank (Ex-Im) support covering unidentified aircraft to be leased by three airlines has been referred to US Congress, according to the bank's agenda notes.
Norwegian Air Shuttle, KLM and Garuda Indonesia are listed as the "end users" on the request.
CIT Aerospace, a unit of CIT Group, delivered eight new and used aircraft to its airline customers during the third quarter ended 30 September.
The lessor also signed agreements for the current and future leases of a total of 35 commercial aircraft.
CIT Aerospace also added five new leasing customers during the quarter.
