The US Department of Transportation has awarded Advanced Management Technology of Washington DC a contract potentially worth $62 million over seven years to provide the US Federal Aviation Administration with expertise in adapting the global positioning system (GPS) to civil aviation needs. The company will provide technical engineering services and management support.
