GKN Engage, part of the UK's GKNAerospace Services, is supporting development of the CargoLifter CL160 freight-carrying airship. AGKN team is on site at CargoLifter's assembly facility in Briesen-Brand, Germany, to integrate the General Electric T700 turboshafts and transmission into the 160t-payload airship's propulsion system. Production of the prototype CL160 is scheduled to begin later this year, with certification planned in late 2003.

American Airlines has placed a conditional order for up to 100 units of ZeroAvia’s ZA2000RJ hydrogen fuel cell powertrain, while also deepening its investment in the advanced propulsion developer through participation in the company’s Series C fundraising round.
