The Israeli ministry of transport is enforcing a new regulation that requires general aviation aircraft owners to clamp their aircraft while parked at airfields. The regulation, issued after the 11 September attacks, requires aircraft owners to secure one of the wheels with a locking device approved by the security department of the ministry. On 6 May operators were reminded that their aircraft will be grounded if they do not comply immediately.
